Eucerin has developed two subranges for hypersensitive skin – UltraSensitive and AntiREedness -with each product addressing the three signs that are consistent with the hypersensitive skin: a weakened skin barrier, hyper-reactivity and irritation.
As hypersensitive skin characterised by a compromised skin barrier this makes the underlying sensory fibres react faster and much stronger to stressors. This irritation causes the unpleasant sensations and redness typical in hypersensitive skin. This rich soothing care formula contains SymSitive, the first active dermocosmetic ingredient that targets the root cause of skin’s hyper-reactivity. SymSitive* effectively acts as a sensitivity regulator, lowering the activation of the sensitive sensory fibres in the epidermis.
